Out of the 160 young companies competing in Africa, Innovative Clan is one of ten startups whose projects particularly caught the attention of the jury of the Daikin – Samurai Incubate Ideathon Airtech Bootcamp Africa. Finalists at the competition which has just been held. in Naïrobi in Kenya.
I-Clan has been incubated since 2018 by MTN Cameroon, a company in the technology sector in Cameroon. It develops digital products and services in the field of FinTech. The other competitors came from Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal and Tanzania. I-Clan was the only startup representing all of Central Africa.
Naïrobi’s excellent performance did not go unnoticed. The Prime Minister of Cameroon, Dion Ngute, congratulated the Innovative Clan team in person and reminded them that they are actors in the digital transformation underway in Cameroon.
The actors of I-Clan, Ako Joelle, Efuet Flora, Ndam Lesly and Nfor Carlton, are all recent graduates of the College of Technology, University of Buea in Computing and Telecommunications Networks.
